Directions, Reviews, Nutrition
PREHEAT oven to 350° F. Grease and flour two 9-inch-round cake pans.
COMBINE flour, granulated sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt in large mixer bowl. Add milk, water, vegetable oil, eggs and vanilla extract; blend until moistened. Beat for 2 minutes (batter will be thin). Pour into prepared pans. Sprinkle 1/3 cup morsels over each cake.
BAKE for 25 to 30 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pans on wire racks for 10 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely. Frost with Creamy Peanut Butter Milk Chocolate Frosting.
FOR CREAMY PEANUT BUTTER MILK CHOCOLATE FROSTING:
MICROWAVE remaining morsels in small, uncovered, microwave-safe bowl on MEDIUM-HIGH (70%) power for 1 minute; STIR. Morsels may retain some of their original shape. If necessary, microwave at additional 10 to 15-second intervals, stirring just until morsels are melted. Beat cream cheese, melted morsels, vanilla extract and salt in small mixer bowl until light and fluffy. Gradually beat in powdered sugar.

A beautiful perfectly rich cake for all ages!
Rich and Yummy Cake
Loved this cake, it was wonderful! My son-in-law said it was the best cake he's ever eaten. I had a little trouble finding the Nestle Toll House Peanut Butter & Milk Chocolate Morsels. Today I saw them on sale and bought 3 packages for future baking and eating pleasure.
Easy to make
I made this cake for my mother-in-law's birthday. It was so good and easy to make. Only problem I had was when I took the cakes out of the pans, many of the morsels stayed on the pan. Like they sunk and melted to the pan. Maybe I took it out of the pan too early? But I would def. make again!!
A new favorite
I made this cake twice in one week for two different occassions- both times it received rave reviews. The cake was moist and the icing was delicious. However, I might consider switching the mixture of peanut butter and chocolate chips for plain pb chips for a subtle change. A few said the mixture for the icing had a mocha flavor, though no one complained about it. A new one for my repetoire of recipes...
Kids Love Cupcakes
This recipe made into cupcakes were a BIG hit at a recent kid birthday bash. I sprinkled crushed peanuts over the top. WARNING: check with guests parents ahead of time to make sure no children have peanut allergies.
