    Incredibly quick and tasty!

    Carrie Riewe from Richfield, MN

I threw these together in no time--they were fabulously chocolatey goodness! Yum! I didn't have peanuts so I just made them tastier and used PB chips. =) I'd recommend melting some PB with the chips for the drizzle so they stick to the bars better. YUM!!!

This was one of the best that I have baked from here. Very moist and very good. I will be doing this one again.

Easy and delicious. I would suggest using a rubber spatula sprayed with nonstick spray to spread the base layer.

    Awesome Brownies

Kris Gradin from PARKERS PRAIRIE, MN

Even tho I didn't have the peanuts and substituted walnuts, these were so easy to make and they were delicious! Next time I will make them with milk chocolate chips in place of the butterscotch. The possibilities are endless!

    Rich is the word!

    Jan Wilkins from BLYTHEVILLE, AR

I cannot make these very often, I end up eating too many. They are perfect for the Holidays! Hubby doesn't eat a lot of chocolate, and usually doesn't care for brownies...[says they're too heavy] but even he raved over these.

  • Star(s)

    Delicious!!!!!

    Rita Abramoski from ERIE, PA

This was easy to make and very very delicious. I will definitely make again. It is rich so I would not want to make the brownies any bigger than the 48 servings. I may try substituting peanut butter or chocolate morsels for the butterscotch ones next time as my husband is not a butterscotch fan (but he still wolfed them down as I didn't tell him there was butterscotch in them!!).

    disappointing

    Angel Perkins from Oakwood, OH

I was very disappointed with this recipe. If anything, I consider them almost bland. When asking my family their opinions, the phrase "Well...they're okay." was the main response. No one cared much for them. "Okay" is never what you're going for when preparing a dessert!

    Great Peanut Butterscotch Brownies

    C Hakari from Barron, WI

This is one of the best brownie recipes I've made. It was easy and fun to make. I used a dark non stick pan so I baked at 325. I will be making these again.

    Chocolate Peanutbutter Butterscotch Brownies

Connie Purvis from COTTAGE GROVE, MN

These were sooo good, moist and fudgy! I didn't have a chocolate cake mix so I used a yellow cake mix and added 3/4 cup of cocoa powder. I also increased the evaporated milk by 1/3 cup to compensate for adding more dry ingredients. I wanted to simplify the recipe. So, instead of layering the brownies, I melted the peanut butter and butterscotch chips and blended them into the batter. I baked the brownies for exactly 25 min. and they came out perfect. I did top the brownies with some of the chips that I melted in a plastic bag but I cut the corner too big to use for drizzling. In the end I spread it on top like icing instead. I think next time I will just mix the butterscotch chips whole into the batter just before pouring into a pan.

    Really Sweet and Yummy

    Carole Hilderbrand from MARIETTA, GA

These were fun to make, although I did hit some jams since I don't bake too often. I put butterscotch morsals into a plastic bowl and it ate right through it! Anyway, these are great and I recommend them, however, I also recommend that once they cool put them in the refrigerator for a few hours, and I stored them there too. They tasted better when refrigerated than not.

this is a great way to incorporate different items into baking. I did it the proper way the first time, the 2nd time I added some chocolate chips, which took it up a knotch, we even did it again, with coconut, another knotch.. don't be afraid to try different things. this is how great baking comes to life. This was a great dish.
