    Retirement Party Rave

    Annette Witherspoon from GEORGETOWN, TX

One of my co-workers retired today after working 25 years. We had a surprise retirement party for her and I made her a cake shaped like a castle, and these wonderful brownies. Everyone loved them and the "girls" are upset with me because they could not quit eating them and they broke their diet.

    Very Good, But Not Great

Eleanor Price from CAMDEN WYOMING, DE

These are very rich and chocolatey, but something seems to be missing. I think it either needs no jelly or more of it. They're much richer than a boxed mix though.

I saw these "new" to me dark chocolate-raspberry chips at the grocery and bought them to try. Then searched the web and found this recipe. While a bit step intensive to prepare, the end product is well worth it. Rich chocolate AND raspberry brownie that is moist. When I saw there was no leavening agent in the recipe, I went to another Nestle's cookbook to check a similar recipe and found it called for 1/4 teaspoon baking soda. So I added that and it was fine. Personally I think the pecans are not needed. :-) I just liked the chocolate and raspberry combo as did my guests who had it for dessert.

This is a great recipe. You used to be able to find a raspberry brownie recipe mix in stores a few years ago, but not anymore. This is even better than the one you buy in the box.

    Chocolate Raspberry Goodness!

    Michelle Harvey from Marysville, WA

These are very good and rich. I am not a big fan of combining raspberry with milk chocolate, but I was pleasantly supprised at how well the flavors come together. The recipe is very easy to make. I didn't have a 9x9 pan so I used the closest size I had and they came out great.

I tried this recipe and they were delicious. I didn't have the swirl chocolate chips at the time, so I used the regular Nestle's chocolate chips. It made them double chocolate.

    Wonderful

    Martha Bordelon from SHREVEPORT, LA

I made these simply because I had some raspberry jam and some Nestle semisweet-white chocolate morsels and was searching for something to bake. Low and behold on the back of the package of the morsels was this delicious recipe. It was a bit time consuming (at least more time than I usually take to create a snack), but certainly well worth the effort. Goodness, I believe this could make any chocolate lover also become a raspberry lover. I will be making this brownie for special occasions and I am certain it will be very impressive.

Superb!! These were the best looking bars at church and so delicious. Easy to make, although you need to make sure you don't overdue the raspberry filling or they will fall apart. I received many compliments at our coffee hour after church that these were very rich and tasty! I will definitely make these again.

    sweet tooth anyone??

    Connie Easlick from DEFORD, MI

This recipe was very sweet tasting! Too much sweet for me, a chocoholic, and my kids. We loved the tastes in it, it just seemed to have too much chocolate and it might have been better if the jam was swirled in, instead of layered in. Great!!
