Made this for the office for someone who requested a chocolate and peanut butter combination cake only I used crunchy peanut butter and omitted the peanuts. It was a huge hit! I also dusted the pan with cocoa powder instead of flour.

This cake is definitely rich but we thought it was great, especially the kids. I used it for a church function and when I cut it apart to put on a serving plate, some of the topping started to fall off. This was okay though, it made it look like I did it on purpose as a decoration.

    Lynn Standrich from Mulvane, KS

I baked this very rich cake for my husband's birthday. Everyone really liked it although half of the people eating it took off the peanuts on the topping. Not me though! It was a very easy cake to make which was another plus for me. A chocolate lover's dream!
