    Easy and good

    S B from Alamogordo, NM

This recipe was quick and easy, though still good. The sea salt gave it a little 'something extra.' We are in an area that produces pistachio nuts, so I used those and they make a great addition.

The only change I would make is to use almonds that do not have a smokey flavor.

With dark chocolate and sea salt being so popular, this recipe has been a big rave whenever I make it to share. I have used spiced glazed pecans and it was equally as great.

The chocolate and salt go together like peanut butter and jelly, however, I do not like smoked almonds, otherswise it was very good.

I made this recipe last year, just to try, my hubby and brother loved it! They have both been asking me if I am making it again this year...the answer, "YES!" I think I'll have to more than double the batch this time and tuck some away for myself.

    was a big hit...I think?

    Lyn Kennedy from BISMARCK, ND

After making 4 banana cream pies for a birthday party, I decided to try making a double batch of the bark as a filler for those who wouldn't want the pie. Um, I had women fighting over the bark; as in wanting to hoard pieces to take home...the men were a little dubious until they tried it and the kids even thought is was terrific! No leftovers for me. Actually, I have to make another batch so my husband and I can taste it. It's a keeper.....

    C Ellis from MAURICEVILLE, TX

I love dark chocolate so this is perfect. You can get two "fixes" in one- sweet and salty. You just can't go wrong with dark chocolate, nuts and salt all in one combination. I even let my children help make this. This was something different for usual holiday baskets and it was a success!!!!

    okay

    Lin Blasch from FaRmInGdaLe, NY

I guess I do not have a sophisticated palate. The chocolate was wonderful! I LOVE dark chocolate. The salt was interesting. The smoked almonds were a distraction and took away from the taste. The recipe was just okay. I am going to try it again with regular almonds and I think we will like that much better.
