Despite all the five star ratings, I was nervous about this recipe. It is wonderful, however and actually better than store bought. Just wish I had some marshmallows now...

This cocoa is just like the cocoa my grandmother used to make me. She would only use the best of ingredients for us. Now my teenagers enjoy this recipe with thier friends at Christmas during thier annual caroling party. It keeps the kids coming back (and I get to know what they are thinking and doing)!

    cocoa for keeps!

    Robin Helms from Splendora, TX

My family lives for cocoa in the cooler months. This is the perfect recipe for us! On hand ingredients means I don't have to worry about having instant cocoa on hand. And I know EXACTLY what my kids are drinking - no hidden ingredients. And the taste...soooo rich and chocolatey. I'll never go back to store bought! And so easy to make that my daughter can make her own :)

  • Star(s)

    Quick as a mix

TaQuilla Smith from NEWPORT NEWS, VA

The best part about this cocoa is that it takes about as much time as a mix, and much tastier. I like to try out different extract flavors to give it a new taste every time (i.e. 1/4 tsp of peppermint, or almond, or 1/8 tsp almond, 1/8tsp vanilla, etc.).
