Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups Arborio rice
  • 1 can (14 ounces) NESTLÉ LA LECHERA Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 5 cups whole milk
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1 package (12 ounces) STOUFFER'S Harvest Apples, thawed

MIX rice, sweetened condensed milk, milk, cinnamon, vanilla extract and raisins in a 5-quart slow cooker.



COOK on high for 2 to 3 hours or until rice is tender. Turn off slow cooker; let rice pudding stand for 10 minutes. Stir in Harvest Apples. Serve warm.

Hot is fast vs slow cooking

It seems to me that dropping the heat after 90 min would work better. Love the siplicity of it all! Love rice pudding and always thought it was too much work. Must admit I did not add the raisins nor the apples. May add a tad bit next time... with more liquid.
