Using carnation evaporate milk for buttermilk

I will use this instead of buying buttermilk - it is cheaper and I won't have to waste the buttermilk that is not used in the recipe. As we dont use it for anything else but baking.

Sour Milk

This is a great idea. I hate to buy a quart of buttermilk when I only use half or a full cup. I usually end up pouring ,ost of it out. This way I can make what I need.

Sour Milk

I never buy buttermilk because I can't stand the smell of it. And now I don't have to. Thanks for a wonderful idea. Great recipe for buttermilk.

Sour Milk Made with Carnation Evaporated Milk

FABULOUS ! I always have Carnation Evaporated Milk on hand, and that makes this tip wonderful. Many times I decide to make something with buttermilk, and I haven't the time to go to the store. THANK YOU ! what a "SUPER" help !

Handy sour milk

I like using this method of sour milk. It has a nice richer flavor. Now, I don't have to run to the store for "milk" since I always have the evaporated milk in my pantry
