    delicious!

I made this bread yesterday, and everyone really liked it. Since no one in my house likes nuts, i substituted golden raisins, and didn't sprinkle any on top. I also didn't have any plain cinnamon, so i substituted pumpkin pie spice. It all worked out quite well! The bread was moist and flavorful.

    Add some applesauce

    Penny Cobb from Bailey, NC

I had all the ingredients except enough sour cream so I used half sour cream and half apple sauce. I did decrease the coffee but will try the full strength next time. I couldn't taste it at all. It is a wonderful breakfast treat and I'll definitely make it again.

I made this for a get together on Sunday and I did reduce the coffee to 2 Tbsp. and everyone loved it and it smelled so good baking. I made it into mini loafs to give as gifts. I will make it again. Thanks.

This was great to serve toasted w/ a special breakfast for my husband. It wasn't his everyday bagel and it wasn't plain toast, so it was a nice treat to serve

It was ok, nice and moist and it really filled up the pan, but I thought it had a slight bitter taste. Maybe I'll try reducing the amount of coffee next time.

This recipe was so easy to make I usually make it on the weekend so my husband can take it to work during the week, (if there's any left) He loves this recipe! Sometimes I drizzle on icing, for a little extra sweet taste.

Co-workers really loved this bread with morning coffee. The batter was too much for 1 loaf pan, so I got a mini-loaf, too. My husband's staff has found a new favorite.

    Donna Martorana from Philadelphia, PA

This sounded good so I baked this bread with some changes in the original recipe.I used half the amount of Instant coffee and cinnamon as called for in the original to give it a milder flavor. I also substituted 3/4 cup non-fat sour cream and 3/4 cup plain non-fat yogurt for the regular sour cream for a healthier low fat version. It turned out very tastey and moist.

    Spiced Coffee Nut Loaf Review

    Vickie Gray from Augusta, GA

I'm looking for something to take on a day cruise with about 20 other people as a snack this weekend. This sounds like something I can bake ahead and will be enjoyed by all early in the day, or throughout the day. What kind of nuts will be best with this recipe?

Review for Spiced Coffee Nut Loaf

Tracy Fraser from Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada

Wonderful mild coffee flavour without being overwhelming. The nuts add a nice crunch. I substituted a 1/4 cup of oil & reduced the sugar by half & made beautiful muffins. A handful of chocolate chips in the batter is also a good idea.
