Warm up on a cold day with this Spicy Hot Chocolate recipe. The delicious combination of cayenne and cloves adds a zesty twist to ordinary hot chocolate. Also works great for winter entertaining.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups 2% milk
  • 1/2 tablet NESTLÉ ABUELITA Authentic Mexican Hot Chocolate Drink
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves

HEAT milk in medium saucepan over medium-high heat. Add Abuelita Chocolate; cook, stirring frequently with a whisk, for 5 to 7 minutes or until chocolate is dissolved. Stir in cayenne and cloves; let stand for 1 minute. Using a whisk or hand blender, whisk mixture until frothy. Serve hot.



Cook's Tip: Sprinkle with cayenne pepper, if desired.
