    YUMMY!!!!

H MIKKELSEN from Arlington Heights, IL

I love the chocolate taste of this tart. Since we couldn't finish it all right away, I did have a problem with the strawberry jelly running off the tart. Got a little soggy by the second day.

    Yummy

    TABITHA BRAYER from KINGWOOD, TX

This dessert was very good and easy to make. It calls for the jam to be put on first then the almond chocolate. When the chocolate hardens I would put another thin layer of jam on for taste but also to help the strawberries stay in place. Also I drizzled the chocolate on top! Everyone loved!!

This tart was easy to make. It was a nice change to have strawberry, as so many call for raspberry, which my husband absolutely hates. Fruit is my fave and choc works well for him. Match made in heaven!!

    Tasty Tart

    Bonnie Berry from WILLOUGHBY, OH

I made the Strawberry Almond Chocolate Tart for a Memorial Day family party and it was well received. The tart was very easy to prepare using the refrigerated pie dough as the base. Because several members of my family prefer white chocolate, I decided to try one using white chocolate chips. It tasted great, but was physically a bit of a disaster. The white chocolate chips would not melt properly and would not set up firmly in the refrigerator. If I do it again, I will use grated white chocolate and perhaps pop the tray in the freezer for a little while to make sure it firms up. We salvaged the one I made by cutting it in squares and serving it that way, and everybody loved the flavor.
