This Stuffed Cornbread recipe features creamed chipped beef baked between layers of golden cornbread and it will definitely surprise and delight your family.
- 1 package (11-oz.) Creamed Chipped Beef, defrosted according to package directions
- 1 package (8.5-oz.) corn muffin mix
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup milk
PREHEAT oven to 400°. grease 9x5-inch loaf pan.
COMBINE muffin mix, egg and milk in medium bowl; stir until only a few lumps remain in batter. Spoon half of batter into prepared loaf pan. Top with creamed chipped beef. Spread remaining batter over creamed chipped beef.
BAKE for 35 to 40 minutes or until knife inserted near center of top layer of cornbread comes out clean.

This is the best recipe I have ever made from the back of a package of anything. We have it with a side of chipped beef and toast! Try it with jalapenos in the cornbread.
