I had the Grandaughters over to help with the Spritz sugar cookies. So easy to make and no hassle we added red, green and blue food coloring for making trees, stars and snowflakes. Great way to make family baking traditions simple to start to get the kids going. Pick up a package of sugar cookie mix and get started for some holiday fun!! Our Next cookie will be the Toll house Chocolate mint chips!!

I have two grandsons (ages 2 & 4)that love to come to my house. I did these cookies with them and they had a ball. These mixes make this a joy to do with the little ones. You get right to the "good stuff" and they feel like they have done "home made".

This recipe doesn't remind me of the spritz cookie. I added a teaspoon or so of almond extract to the dough. It gave a more original flavor.

I never thought to use refrigerator dough for spritz cookies. It saved so much time, I'll be making them this way from now on. I also melt down chocolate and dip the bottoms of the cookies to give a chocolate taste with the cookie. During holidays, I use red and green chocolate discs to give a festive look.

Although these cookies are good and easy to make, they do not have that homemade flavor. I prefer to make my cookies from scratch and will probably not buy this packaged dough again.

I love making spritz cookies. I have always made them from scratch. Being short on time I used the refigerated Sugar Cookie Bar Dough, saved myself a half hour of measuring, mixing and cleaning up. I made them in the shape of Daisies with a dab of yellow icing and a dot of chocolate in the center. They were a hit. I love having Nestle refigerator dough on hand, homebaked goodies in half the time. Thanks Nestle.
