I thought that my husband made delicious brownies. Well, I tried making these brownies for the first time. My husband even admitted that these brownies are much much better than his!! We both agreed that these brownies are so so delicious that we decided to forget his recipe and keep this one in our recipe file forever! They are so moist and so tasty. Thank you Nestle Toll House!

    Great baking project with kids

    SUE BOYER from Sugarloaf, PA

I am den leader for my son's Bear Den in Cub scouts. The boys had a cooking requirment to work on where they needed to make cookies or brownies. I made the arrangements and assembled all the ingredients and tools and met with all 8 boys in a tiny kitchen. The recipe was easy and each boy got the chance to add or stir an ingredient. The hardest part was waiting for them to cool so the boys could take a treat home with them (we put the baked brownies in the freezer to cool faster). The boys really enjoyed their time in the tiny kitchen! I look forward to someday baking with the den again.

    Delish!

Kate Garrison from WEST SACRAMENTO, CA

This was my first time making brownies from scratch and I actually substituted semi sweet chocolate chips and lowered the amount of sugar and these turned out so incredible! I made them in a pan (not in a microwave) and added a little extra salt. These are so delish! I cut them into tiny squares and put them in the fridge because they are very FUDGEY!

To quote a friend, these were "terrific!". I baked them for 20 min. and they were a litte dry. But they were perfect for the base of a brownie sundae. They were very easy to make; however, next time I will shorten the baking time to 15 min.

I have been using a box mix for brownies for years because the recipes made with cocoa are never chocolatey enough. I tried this recipe last night. It is really delicious. Moist, chocolatey, fudgy YUM!! (I stirred a package of milk chocolate chips into the batter and the milk chocolate chips with the dark chocolate brownie is a perfect match!) I'll never go back to the box!!!
