    Almost to easy Cookie bars

    nikki pals from PALATINE, IL

Bar cookies are my go to cookie(let's be honest who likes rolling out cookie dough?) I have made the Toll House Cookies for %&* years (not giving my age away!) and have always loved the results. As a bar cookie they are great! Well the refrigerated dough makes these even easier. I do miss the home made taste but in a "gotta have something quick emergency" these are wonderful.

    Variation of Cookie Bars

    Shanna Warrenfeltz from HAGERSTOWN, MD

This is simple and easy. One thing I've done to make them a little more special is use a bag of chocolate chips, and spread over bars about 2 minutes before they are done baking. Then, use a spatula, and spread the melted chips over the bars like icing. Once the chocolate hardens again, cut and serve. Everyone loves them!
