Pumpkin made better
Just adds the right touch. Easy and everyone will enjoy it.
new, fun way to eat peanut butter
this is great. i love peanut butter, and the pumpkin adds a nice autumnal flavoring to it. i would, however, suggest adding cinnamon or nutmeg- I added some of both- to the pumpkin/PB mixture to 'sweeten' it up a little bit. also, the peanut butter to pumpkin ratio is a bit off- in my opinion, there should be slightly more peanut butter than pumpkin, or else the mushy pumpkin is a bit too overpowering. overall, though, a great, easy recipe!
We would of never thought of putting pumpkin in a peanut butter sandwich, but these were awesome.
Pumpkin Peanut Butter Sandwich
This recipe provided a unique twist on one of my favorite sandwiches (peanut butter, jelly, and banana), and I really enjoyed the combination of flavors. Delicious and nutritious!
Elivis would have loved it!
My husband loves peanut butter and I have made the "traditional" Elvis peanut butter and banana sandwich which he loves. I didn't know how he would like this but he loved it! I packed it in his lunch as a surprise; he wants more!
Fun to make, Yummy to eat!
The children had a blast making this & loved it! And to be honest I even liked it!
What an interesting combination of ingredients, never would have thought of this....can't wait to try it.
Surprised Twist for Banana Sandwich
This was an amazing combination. I hesitated to prepare this with the fear of spoiling my favorite sandwich...banana slices and mayonaise...sometimes adding the peanut butter. I left the mayo off and added the pumpkin with the peanut butter, creating a delightful change. It's a great way to use leftover pumpkin from another recipe.
Peanut butter pumkin
I'll have to go get some pumpkin...it's a favorite in our house!
Thank You Very Much" Pumpkin Peanut Butter Sandwic
My family loves pumpkin so I love to try new pumpkin recipes. I was skeptical of this recipe though but found it very easy to make and very good! Who knew? :)
Thank you very much pumpkin peanut butter sandwich
MMMM!! Easy, quick and sooo good. Even the kids can make these wonderful sandwiches! Enjoy some today!!
I have a three year old daughter who eats the same thing every day for lunch: a peanut butter sandwich, no jelly.
She loved this meal.
I loved that there is a wonderful veggie boost in it.
The spread is so wonderfully tasty and smooth, my little girl asks to lick the butter knife.
What a treat. I grew up eating banana sandwiches, then discovered peanut butter and banana, yum, NOW, another favorite in the family...pumpkin! Surprised everybody with an even more nutritious, tasty treat for lunch but we also enjoy anytime we want something delicious to eat!
Quick & tasty
I've always liked Peanut Butter & banana sandwiches, and I was surprised at how well the pumpkin blended in with the PB & banana. This was very easy to make, and is a good way to use canned pumpkin that is left over when another recipe only calls for part of a can.
Pumpkin Peanut Butter Sandwich
This was good and I liked that it had the pumpkin mixed in for an added health benefit. The recipe I may make again.
I tried this before the recipe came out...
I am so pleased to see recipes that support my perceptions of what is delicious. I was quite tickled to see an idea very close to a concoction that I have made myself, although I like to keep the puree and the PB separate to really taste the flavors. I also like to spice it up a bit with whatever I may have on hand - nutmeg, cloves, cinnamon, or pumpkin pie spice (of course!). This also works well with soy nut butter (crunchy preferred). For another orange veggie and PB combination, try mashed sweet potato. Definitely a bit more unique but just as tasty.
Thank You Very Much Pumpkin Peanut Butter Sandwich
Thank you very much for a wonderful and healthy sandwich. I made this for my 86 year old Mother along with a cup of hot tea, she loves it!!
Wow to get picky kids to eat something is hard to do, but they all loved this. We even tried with alittle cinnamon. Just wonderful. Thanks again.
Elvis would love this one!
Who would have thought of this combination? Kids loved it, easy to make & a nice change from using jams or jellies! Elvis would be a fan!
What a great nutritional treat!
Not only is this sandwich delicious--I have a very fussy teenager, to whom Peanut Butter sandwiched with a Banana is the best meal--the pumpkin adds flavor, texture, and a wonderful boost of Vitamin A!
