I all but gave up on making delicious fudge. Since we moved to a different state/altitude, every 'cook' fudge recipe I used to make no longer works. This recipe is great tasing and very easy. Wonderful, colorful accent and change! But - the fudge was so delic, it almost didn't make it to the baskets! Will definitely make for other holidays.

What a fabulous idea for every holiday. This fudge is foolproof and very easy. It disappears very quickly. I don't put nuts in it for my son because he doesn't like them so I put coconut, cherries or even jelly belly jelly beans! You can make any "flavor" you want. Gone is a flash!

    Love This

    Heidi Buter from MUSKEGON, MI

When my grandmother went into a nursing home she gave me a cookbook from Tollhouse. We mad a lot of recipes from this book. When I received this book I found this recipe and I love it. I never made it with the jelly beans, but I make it for holiday gifts. One day my boyfriend asked for butterscotch fudge. So before I saw the recipe that it posted, I just substitued. My daughter loves peanut butter fudge, so once again I just substitued a package of peanut butter morsels. This recipe is not as sweet as some other fudge recipes. Everyone one will love this fudge.

Keep this recipe handy for all occasions, just vary the toppings or add ins-like cherries, coconut, or other candy you have on hand.

    Easter treat

    Merry Sears from ALABASTER, AL

My family got together on Saturday before Easter and this Fudge went over great. It does get soft easily, so keep in a cool place or refrigerate. I lined small plastic easter eggs with plastic wrap and filled both sides with fudge (no nuts for the kids)refigerated them and when they were nice and firm I pulled out the fudge by the plastic wrap mark each center part with a fork each way put a little water on one side then put together. The kids loved the fudge easter eggs. Use the smallest size eggs you can find or there wil be a melted mess before they finish it.
