    Holiday Staple

    Laura Swofford from Salida, CO

My family has made this recipe for the holidays (well into January for Superbowl Sunday) for decades. I add regular M&M's as well and make 3 different kinds. 1 batch in regular chocolate, 1 batch in vanilla and 1 batch in butterscotch. Have to say that the butterscotch has become my favorite!!!!

    less chocolate for party mix

    kj hergan from CATAWISSA, PA

I made this party mix for my son's kindergarten class for his birthday snack. It was very good, but next time I will use less chocolate and just drizzle chocolate over it to make it more healthy. I couldn't help but eat some as I was preparing it for the children. YUM!!!

    we call it blizzard mix

Nancy Campbell from HOWARD CITY, MI

We use the white chocolate in this recipe.I now have to make it at least twice a month. My husband is nuts about it. But, unwrapping caramels? No fun. So..I improvised. I buy the candy corn from the bulk section, about 1/2 pound. Works really great! I also toss in the peanut butter pieces that look like candy coated chocolates. And, for holidays such as Easter, Christmas, etc., I use the appropriate candy coated chocolates colors! My family loves this & it gets requested often.

    Sudha Hariharan from Markham, ON

My young nephew who is just three years old had come down to my place and since it was his birthday on that day,I had made this hoping he will like it. What say, after he had just got up eating, he just came up to me and curling his index finger and joining it to his thumb finger,he shook it towards me and that made me feel so happy and I can vouch that this is the best recipe I ever could have made!
