Ingredients:

2 packages (9 ounces each) BUITONI Refrigerated Three Cheese Tortellini
1/2 cup BUITONI Refrigerated All Natural Pesto with Basil
1/2 cup (1.5 ounces) BUITONI Refrigerated Freshly Shredded Parmesan Cheese
1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes, drained and chopped
1/2 bunch basil, chopped

Directions:

PREPARE pasta according to package directions. Drain pasta. Toss with pesto, cheese, tomatoes and basil. Serve hot or at room temperature.

Wow - everyone loved this dish. I mean REALLY loved it. It is unbelievably easy to make. I took the advice of others and added a spash of heavy cream, reduced the motz. cheese slightly, and added garlic. Also, I decided to buy pesto sauce in a jar instead of the fresh kind because of the price. The only problem is the cost is very high. Otherwise, the dish was a hit. Althought I'm not a big fan of sun-dried tomatoes, they made this dish look incredible. Mine turned out identical to the picture!

I just made this recipe and found it delciious. My only suggestion would be to add a little cream to the pesto.. it makes it creamier and maybe cut back on the parmasean cheese to about 1/3 of a cup . Other than that... I will definitely be looking forward to this tomorrow for lunch.

My boyfriend and I love this tortellini salad. It's easy to make and it's delicious. The one thing I'd recommend is adding some heavy cream to the pesto sauce so the salad can be a little creamier. We find it that it becomes a little too dry with just the pesto sauce.

I had the tortellini and sundried tomatoes on hand and only had to purchase pesto and basil. The fresh basil froze in the car and I wasn't able to use it. It turned out great! Next time I won't bother buying basil. I served it with a crusty 3 cheese bread from Panera's. My husband and 2 teenage daughters loved it. Definitely a keeper!

Nice, easy, quick recipe with good flavor. I found the cheese in the pasta and on top of the pasta a little bit too much. Next time I will probably just substitute 4 oz penne pasta/person for the tortellini.

This receipe goes a long way when needed. I never follow recipes, just get ideas. This one is also just as good on cooked ziti. Just add extra grated cheese, which I do anyway, because it makes a difference, always.
