That is what my husband said the first time he tasted this fudge 11 years ago when we were dating. I have had this recipe for years though mine uses grated orange peel and orange extract for the flavoring. It is always a big hit with guests and family. As far as my husband is concerned, it is officially Christmas once I make this!

This is the first time my fudge tasted like fudge. I made this recipe to put in a dessert platter I made up for a "Gals Only Get-together". Wanted new recipes and used 3 from this site. The gals didn't believe it was homemade. Swore I bought the fudge from the beach. My platter was a big hit thanks to very best.com. Thanks!

This recipe worked when I had plenty of time but now that I am limited I have found that my traditional butterscotch fudge consists of Butterscotch chips, sweetened condensed milk and vanilla using the microwave. Stay tuned. I will submit the whole recipe for more points. This fudge did pass my family's test because they love butterscotch!

Didn't hold together outside the fridge

    Leslie Smith from Bonita, CA

I made this recipe for the first time. The butterscotch fudge was delicious. However, once the fudge warmed up outside the fridge, it became very sticky and oozed out of its cut shape. I don't know what I did wrong. It was difficult to offer this goody to others because it became so gooey on the serving platter.
