    Perfect for bake sale

    Heather D from NY

These cookies were so easy to make and perfect for my son's school bake sale. My only concern was we would eat them all and there wouldn't be any to bring to school. They were a big hit. I will be making them again for my youngest son's school event as well.

    Good to the last drop...

    Jackie Connelly from KERRVILLE, TX

I made these for a fund raiser and guess what... they were the first to go. Don't make these unless you like chocolate. I added a couple more Tbsps of flour to get the right consistency for my drop cookie.

    great for my chocolate cravings

    jessica fagerstrom from Olivebridge, NY

I thought these cookies were just right to satisfy my chocolate craving. I did not have enough brown sugar so I swapped the amount with regular sugar and added a tbsp of molasses...still came out great.

    Spectacular!

Diane N. from Los Angeles, CA

These cookies for the perfect way to celebrate Valentine's Day for me and my husband, who are both real chocolate lovers! The semi-sweet chocolate makes the cookie intense, but not overpowering. They were gooey and delicious! I will definitely be making these again... and again!

We did not find these cookies particularly spectacular. The recipie worked well, but the family just did not find them notable nor would they want them again.I would suggest making a half batch to try them because this makes a huge quantity.

    Good but not Ultimate

    Kayla Haas from Leavenworth, KS

I feel that these cokies came out good...but not to my expectations. They did not come out like the picture shows...the chips seemed to sink into the middle of the cookies..which very well could have been because of me. I used 2 cups of milk chocolate chips for the melted part so maybe that affected the cookie was well. Overall they were good, but I will not be making them again.

Okay, I've never written any reviews before - yet I found myself to write a review at 1:13 a.m.! Ooey gooey goodness of wonderful chocolate. Small tip: beat your softened butter and sugar(s) first then add remaining ingredients in order. This (combined with the baking soda) creates a moister, softer textured cookie. Try this recipe - trust me you won't regret it!

These cookies were delicious! I would definitely agree with only baking them until they are "puffy" which will be before they actually look done but they'll be perfectly moist and chewy.

I try to make home-made delights for my kids as opposed to store bought, and my two went crazy over these. My son wants me to make some for the first day of school so that he can share with his friends, and my daughter wants me to make some just so that she can share with me and my Mother! These will be a family tradition from now on!

    Absolutely awesome

    LORI ALLISON from WILLINGTON, CT

I got upon this recipe by mistake. My husband is not too keen about really chocolatey anything. I went ahead and made 'em. It was very easy to make and guess what?! My husband loves 'em. He asked for another and another. Cookies puffed up and remain a thick and big cookie. It is chocolatey but not overly chocolatey. This is definitely a keeper!

I made these cookies last summer for a cook out we were having for friends and neighbors-not one was left on the plate! They were so good and soooo easy to make. However I misplaced the recipe and had to search for it and found it again tonight-it is one of my favorite cookies-not too sweet and not overly chocolate. You have to try it!

These are sooooo good. I took them to work and they were gone in a flash. Several people asked if they are the cookies made with cake mix. Several have asked for the recipe. Which I take as a compliment since the ones asking are much older and experienced bakers. Almost hate to have them see how easy they are to make.
