  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped candied ginger or ginger syrup
  • 2 shots (2 ounces) espresso
  • 1 tablespoon Vanilla Flavored NESTLÉ® COFFEE-MATE® natural bliss® All-Natural Coffee Creamer
  • 1/2 cup steamed lowfat milk

PLACE ginger in large mug or tall heatproof glass. Brew espresso over ginger; stir well. Stir in Coffee-mate; top with steamed milk.

Interesting, but wouldn't make again

It wasn't bad. If you really like the taste of ginger then you'll probably enjoy the extra flavor in your coffee. Candied ginger is a bit pricy so that took a star down, and I prefer my hot coffee drinks to be more easier to make, so that took one more star.

this is a great coffee drink ! but i love ginger flavoring in anything!....this is a recipe ill keep and make a lot for myself and guests because its so easy and so good!

Experimentation would be a plus

I tried this - tasty, not for the faint of heart tastewise, though I favor darker roasts of coffee. A lighter roast, or even a flavored (think macadamia nut or coconut) might have a little more broad appeal. That said, it is an unusual but delicious combination. (member of Coffee-Mate Brew Crew)

Great Flavor Combo

As a member of COFFEE-MATE Brew Crew I was excited to try this recipe. I would never have thought about this combo before, but I enjoyed it a lot. I do tend to prefer the flavor of regular Coffee Mate french vanilla creamer to the Bliss vanilla so I may try that next time. I think I'd enjoy it more that way.
