Cardamom, native to India, beloved in Scandinavia, has a pungent aroma and a warm, spicy-sweet flavor. It makes a wonderful addition to cinnamon in this creamy, after-dinner Warm Spiced Coffee.
- 3 cups water
- 3 cups milk
- 6 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 6 tablespoons NESCAFÉ TASTER'S CHOICE House Blend 100% Pure Instant Coffee Granules
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
COMBINE water and milk in medium saucepan; bring to a boil. Add sugar, coffee granules, cinnamon and cardamom. Boil over medium heat for 3 to 4 minutes. Strain. Serve hot or iced.

I used 1/2 tsp. cardamom and it is so good. Delightful for a wake-up call for breakfast and mid day.
