We're kind of picky when it comes to how our cookies taste. My brother made these and we thought they were very good! They are very addictive and we will definitely be making them again. They're winners!

    A Guaranteed Favorite with Everyone!

Candace Bishop from Glen Ellyn, IL

These are truly outstanding. I have sent dozens to our troops in the Middle East, baked them for our local Police Department, and always have some in the freezer for family and friends. I have made them with white morsels, chocolate morsels, and peanut butter morsels ... whatever I use, people love them! I always shape them in balls and roll in sugar. Do be careful not over-bake them. They are best when chewy.

    Very good!

    Delfina Mortensen from Wheaton, IL

It was an easy and very good cookie. The white chocolate gave it that extra punch!

These are an all time favorite and will continue to be. Yes as stated by other reviews they're so much better warm but they're delish cool as well.

Some of the best cookies I've ever eaten!

    Jessica Lease from Philadelphia, PA

These cookies are outstanding! The only thing I did differently was used 1 cup milk choc chips and 1 cup white choc chips, instead of 2 cup white, and they were delicious. I suggest trying this substitution!

  • Star(s)

    Dough was thick

    Kathy blackburn from Cypress, TX

When we mixed every thing together the dough was very thick and hard to mix with the mixer and I had to end up adding some milk to the recipe. I used soft butter not melted maybe tonight I will try melting the butter.

    Yummy

    Jennifer I from CO

My review echoes all the others! I felt that these were SO much better warm (what cookie isn't?) and I'll probably minimize how many chips go in the recipe. All in all this was a very fast and easy recipe which I will definatly be making again!

    Fantastic

    Janessa Lynn from CA

There cannot be too much chocolate chips in here! The cookie gets a bit crispy on the edges, but inside, it's chewy and good. But for the cookie to be chewy, it has to cool down first so unless you must eat one right away, I suggest you wait for them to cool.

  • Star(s)

    easy!!

    Amanda Bruner from Nacogdoches, TX

Super easy to make. Tasty. I used 1 cup of white sugar instead of 3/4 just because most recipes are bland with the indicated amount.

  • Star(s)

    Add Powdered Sugar!

    Joni Coffman from PORTLAND, OR

These are awesome if you add about 1/4 cup of powdered sugar to the recipe and some mini chocolate morsels. I made a double batch and ate most of them myself!

  • Star(s)

    Fabulous with Cappuccino chips!

    Rebecca Aguiar from Lakewood, California

I made these with white chocolate chips and the family really enjoyed them, but when I made them with cappuccino flavored chips that I found at Cost Plus and added about 1/4 cup of instant coffee granules to the wet ingredients was when everybody went crazy for them! I ended up making 6 double batches!

  • Star(s)

    Great chocolate combo!

    Kimmie T from NJ

These were a great fudge-like cookie when not over baked. I did my 1st batch and reread the ingredients and realized that the cocoa I was using was an unsweetened one! So I quickly went back to the batter and added about 1/3 c more sugar and it came out fine; and plus the white choco chips seem to have balanced out the flavors of the cookie. Will bake them again!!

  • Star(s)

    Great Cookies

    Glenda Hand from salem, OR

I love these cookies, easy to make and with a great flavor and hold up well in the cookie jar. Just wish I had a recipe for them without the cocoa.

  • Star(s)

    Not That Good To Us...

    Terry Navarre from Hamburg, MI

These cookies are EZ to make but just not that flavorful. I served them on my Thanksgiving buffet. No one took a second cookie. This was the only cookie with plenty of leftovers, so froze them. Maybe the grandchildren will eat them when they have no other options. I followed the recipe exactly.

  • Star(s)

    Add Cherries!!

    christy short from roseville, CA

This will be your new favorite Christmas Cookie (but wait 'til Christmas?? :( ) Cut the morsel amount in half and add coarse chopped tart dried cherries. (cheap at the bulk stores) Like a cherry cordial cookie! Mmmm...

    So good!

    LISA LOMBARDO from TURNERSVILLE, NJ

These are a nice change instead of chocolate chip cookies. I made them for a guest, and they were a huge hit! This is an excellent recipe. I did sub one cup of whole wheat pastry flour and I added a 1/2 tsp of baking powder, because I like puffy cookies. Perfectly baked and perfectly delicious!

    Yummy!!!!

    Rita Abramoski from ERIE, PA

These were very, very easy and very very yummy. I will definitely make again. I also like them because they are low in carbohydrates, which is a plus for me as I am diabetic, so I can fit them into my meals. I would recommend placing 2 inches apart as they do spread.

    For the chocolate lover

    K. DEGEORGE from ABSECON, NJ

These cookies are very good. The chocolate bursts in your mouth. I used 1 cup white chips, and 1 c semi sweet chips-yummy-gave the cookie even more of a chocolate flavor. Will make with all semi- sweet chips, or dark chocolate chips next time. Definitely a keeper!

    Top "No Stick" TIP

    Heather Rosbrugh from

This cookie is great! I made it for the construction crew working on our house and they approved along with my kids! The first time I used REAL butter and they were perfect. The second round I used LIGHT butter and my batch was disappointing. The batter was STICKY and shiny looking and the cookies burnt at the same cooking time as my great batch. Here's the tip! I added extra flour to the recipe when using the LIGHT butter and they are back to their great original taste! So, if it is sticky or too shiny looking add more flour and they should roll up without sticking to everything and taste yummy with cocoa!!
