Ingredients:
Aluminum foil
Nonstick cooking spray
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
1 large egg
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
18 WONKA Exceptionals Chocolate Waterfall or Scrumdiddlyumptious Chocolate Miniature Chocolates, unwrapped
Directions:
PREHEAT oven to 350° F. Line 8- or 9-inch-square baking pan with foil (this makes for easy blondie removal); spray lightly with nonstick cooking spray.
COMBINE flour, baking powder and salt in medium bowl; stir well.
BEAT sugar and butter in large mixer bowl until creamy. Beat in egg and vanilla extract until blended. Beat in flour mixture. Spoon half of dough into prepared baking pan, smoothing down top. Place chocolate pieces in a single layer over dough. Top with remaining dough, smoothing down top.
BAKE for 30 to 35 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. To serve, lift foil from pan and peel away foil from blondies. Cut the square into 6 equal strips; cut strips in opposite direction, making 36 bars.
