This Yuletide Cheesecake makes a delicious, elegant dessert for all your holiday dinners.

Ingredients:

  • CRUST
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter or margarine, melted
  • CHEESECAKE
  • 36 NESTLÉ BUTTERFINGER Jingles
  • 3 pkgs. (8 oz. each) cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • TOPPING
  • 1 container (16 oz.) sour cream
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:

PREHEAT oven to 350° F.

FOR CRUST:
GREASE
bottom and side of 9-inch springform pan.

COMBINE graham cracker crumbs and butter in medium bowl. Press onto bottom of prepared pan. Place in freezer for 5 minutes.

FOR CHEESECAKE:
SET
aside 12 Nestlé Jingles to use for garnish. Unwrap and cut remaining Nestlé Jingles in quarters.

BEAT cream cheese and sugar in large mixer bowl until fluffy. Beat in vanilla extract. Beat in eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Sprinkle cut Nestlé Jingles over bottom of crust to 1/2-inch from edge. Pour filling into crust.

BAKE for 50 minutes or until center is set and edges begin to crack. Cool for 2 minutes before adding sour cream topping.

FOR TOPPING:
COMBINE
sour cream, sugar and vanilla extract in medium bowl; mix well. Spread over surface of warm cheesecake. Bake for 5 minutes. Remove from oven and cool on wire rack.

REFRIGERATE for several hours or overnight. Remove side of springform pan. Garnish each slice with one unwrapped Nestlé Jingle.

    I lucked out & had a couple packs of the NESTLÉ BUTTERFINGER Jingles in my freezer, the cheesecake turned out fine. I plan on puting shamrock picks & serving this wonderful cheescake for St. Patricks day. My family loves this cheesecake during the christmas holidays, so this will be a special treat.

    The BEST Cheesecake

    Since this was a new recipe for me, I made one for my husband to take to work so I could get feedback on it. After many thumbs up, it became our Christmas dessert. It really wasn't hard to make and was SO tasty! I'm assuming you could make it throughout the year with chopped up (regular) Butterfinger candy bars. If you don't want the top to crack, bake it with a pan of water underneath for a "crack-free" top. Of course, the sour cream topping does cover it.

    I'm not a person who likes Cheesecake but my family is. I made this for the first time this past Easter and was told that this was the best Cheesecake they ever had,this will be my 3rd time making it this year and I have never made a Cheesecake before. Thank you for this recipe.

    I found this recipe to be quite appealing in both appearance and taste. it was quite a hit at the office get-together. The consistency of the cheesecake is lusciously creamy. It has that melt-in your mouth taste. The chocolate candy adds just the right amount of sweetness and makes a very attractive appearance. This is definitely a "pick" for those with a sweet tooth.
